We believe conservation works best locally. TPE is organized in 11 chapters, each serving several counties of Wisconsin, Illinois, and Minnesota. While a board comprised of members from across the organization oversees The Prairie Enthusiasts, the chapters are the core of TPE’s conservation and education activities. Chapters hold field trips and other events, organize hands-on management of prairies and savannas, pursue land acquisition and protection. Contact your area’s chapter leaders to find out what is going on in your part of the prairie!
