Many Rivers Area
About Our Chapter
The Many Rivers Chapter is located in south-central Minnesota and covers Blue Earth, Brown, Faribault, Freeborn, Martin, Nicollet, Waseca and Watonwan counties.This region is dominated by agricultural land, but some remnant prairies escaped the plow. These include slightly wetter areas, some steep land along rivers in the area, and slivers of prairie along roadways or railroads.
We work to bring awareness of remnants, as well as promote prairie planting.
The chapter was chartered by The Prairie Enthusiasts in Spring 2010.
